10-12 Foot Pounds for most roots style superchargers. Blowers with intercoolers using the long mounting studs will be 15-20 Ft. Lbs.

Use a standard 80w-90w gear oil with a GL5 rating. Any name brand oil will have a GL5 rating
3. Do I need boost referenced carburetors?
In a marine application it will be mandatory. The loads placed on the engine at part throttle require the use of the power valve circut. Automotive applications, it is not as critical. You can make your carbs work, but it will take some messing with. By boost referencing the power valve you can run a smaller main jet for improved throttle responce and a cleaner low speed mixture

Blower kits are designed to work with short water pumps & short water pump brackets. You can use electric pumps as long as they do not interfere with the blower belt.
7. Can I use my stock mechanical fuel pump?
No. The stock pumps do not have enough fuel volume (GPH). You will need a pump capable of 120GPH. It can be mechanical or electric. Please note that some pumps are rated at FREE FLOW. You will need to double check these pumps for thier GPH rating at 7psi.
